Kevin J. Duffy is general manager of Proxim Corporation's Broadband
Services Division, which focuses on delivering products for the service
provider market - Internet Service providers (ISPs), wireless ISPs and
carriers for last mile access, neighborhood access and consumer LAN
distribution. Prior to joining Proxim, Duffy was vice president of Home
Networking at SIEMENS Information & Communications Mobile, where he was
responsible for channel development, strategic partnerships and customer
acquisition, as well as for creating and managing global business
processes. Prior to Siemens, Duffy held positions with Northern Telecom
and Tracor Aerospace and was a non-commissioned officer serving as
Avionics Nav/Com technician in the United States Air Force. Duffy
earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the
University of Texas at Austin.
