Matthew Gast is currently a member of the business development team at NetScreen, where he works on building strategic technology alliances. Prior to NetScreen, Matthew held sales engineering positions in the security industry. He is the author of three books, in addition to several technical articles and white papers. Matthew's most recent book, 802.11: The Definitive Guide, was published by O'Reilly and Associates in April 2002. In addition to his work as a writer, Matthew is a registered U.S. patent agent.
