| Jim Geier is an independent consultant assisting firms with the development of wireless network products and integration of wireless networks into corporate information systems. Jim is author of three books: Wireless LANs, Wireless Networking Handbook, and Network Reengineering, and numerous articles. Jim is an active participant in the Wireless Ethernet Compatibility Alliance (WECA), and has served as Chairman of the IEEE Computer Society, Dayton Section, and Chairman of the IEEE International Conference on Wireless LAN Implementation. He was an active member of the IEEE 802.11 Working Group and Chairman of the IEEE International Wireless LAN Conference. Jim holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering and an MBA. |
