Kevin Jackson is a co-founder and the VP of Marketing for Tatara Systems --
responsible for all aspects of product marketing, product management and
corporate communications. Prior to co-founding Tatara, Kevin spent 7 years
at Kenan Systems Corporation -- a leading vendor of billing and customer
care solutions to wireless and wireline service providers. Kevin was one of
the first employees at Kenan working on billing and customer care solutions,
and he played a key role in the company's rapid ascention to leadership in
their space -- leading to a $1.4b acquisition by Lucent. As director of
product development, Kevin managed all development activities, owned the
product roadmap, chaired the product steering committee, and worked closely
on leading customer deployments with operators including BT, AT&T, Optus,
France Telecom and others. Kevin has also held VP-level roles in marketing
and business development with Arbortext -- a leading vendor of XML-based
content management solutions and one of the original authors of the XML
standard -- and Veridiem -- a leader vendor of enterprise software solutions
for measuring the ROI on marketing investments. Kevin holds an
undergraduate degree with a double major in Physics and Economics from
Cornell University and an MBA with highest distinction from the Harvard
Business School.
