| Andrew McCloskey is currently the Director of Engineering at Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc. Andrew has been with Toshiba for almost four years and leads the software development department that has created the Toshiba Hotspot Solution. His teams have also developed other innovative products and solutions such as the Magnia SG20 Appliance Server with wireless support and a new, wireless Voice over IP solution that takes advantage of Toshiba's award winning mobile computing devices. Prior to joining Toshiba, Andrew worked over eight years on the Space Shuttle guidance system as software engineer and architect as well as spent several years creating successful web-based applications for the financial industry. Andrew is the author of the well-received management book, "Be a Great Boss in the Internet Age," which focuses on maximizing team productivity and also occasionally teaches technical courses at a local university. |
