Ron D. Reich is a Director of Strategic Investments in Intel Capital's Broadband & Wireless Networking Sector. In that role he focuses primarily on broadband wireless technologies and services investments in support of Intel's Mobile Platforms and Communication Groups. Since joining Intel Capital in August 1999, he has led a number of domestic and international investments in satellite and wireless broadband networking. He works closely with a number of Intel portfolio companies and has become recognized within the 802.11 (Wi-Fi) industry. He has spoken at numerous conferences and is a contributing author to a book entitled "Ethernet Unleashed" planned for publication in late 2002.

Prior to joining Intel, Ron was Vice President of Business Development at Brightpoint Incorporated, a $2 billion distributor in the global cellular industry. In this capacity, his role was to grow and manage relationships with cellular operators, and structure and negotiate logistics service agreements.

From 1994 to 1997, Ron was in the New York office of Booz-Allen and Hamilton, a global management consulting firm. As a Senior Associate, he led a number of engagements for financial services, telecommunications, high technology clients where he became recognized as a practice leader in service operations and supply chain management.

Ron received a Master's in Business Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania where he was recognized for academic distinction. At the University of California at Berkeley, he received a bachelor's degree with high honors in Industrial Engineering.
