| Mark Rich is co-founder and Chief Technology Officer for SkyPilot Network, a broadband access provider of last-mile data services. Mark Rich was the principle architect for SkyPilot's wireless mesh architecture. SkyPilot is in engineering field trials with the company's radio hardware. Prior to SkyPilot, Mr. Rich was Laboratory Director for the Communications and Signals Technology Laboratory at SRI International, a not-for-profit, contract research and development firm originally associated with Stanford University. In his 15 year tenure with SRI, Mr. Rich developed many communications systems for government and commercial clients. Mr. Rich also served a one year term on a Defense Science Board for the US Department of Defense, focusing on tactical battlefield communications systems. |
