Jeff Damir is Senior Vice President of Business Development and Sales of Cometa Networks and is responsible for all real estate and service provider business development and sales.
Prior to Mr. Damir's appointment to Cometa Networks, he served for four years as Vice President, Client Products of Openwave Systems. At Openwave, Mr. Damir was responsible globally for client product sales,
business development and strategy and grew revenue to exceed $30 million by 2002. Mr. Damir closed agreements with companies such as Motorola, Nokia, Ericsson, Samsung, Siemens, Sony, Panasonic, LGE and Kyocera.
Prior to Openwave, Mr. Damir served for four years as Director of Business Development and Strategy, Product Marketing for AT&T Wireless where he developed the wireless packet data services and grew the data team from 10 to 200 persons.
Mr. Damir previously was Director, Advanced Research for GTE Government Systems and as a System Engineer for Hughes Aircraft, Satellite Systems.
Mr. Damir has an MBA from Stanford University and an MSEE, Communications Systems from UCLA.
