A seasoned mobile industry executive, Chris Gilbert had a 12-year career at Motorola before joining IPWireless as CEO. In his most recent position, Chris ran Motorola's cellular infrastructure business in 60 countries as the company rolled out its 2G, 2.5G, and 3G mobile platforms. Also while at Motorola, Chris played key executive roles leading business strategy initiatives and directing operational units.

Prior to joining Motorola, he spent four years in key strategic and business development management roles at Data General's Logistics division. Chris brings a wealth of proven international business leadership experience to IPWireless. Chris earned his bachelor's degree in physics from Bristol University and attended the prestigious Officer Training Program at the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst, England.
