Tom Goodman

Bolstered by 20 years of senior security management experience, Tom Goodman serves as Vice President of Operations for Bluefire Security Technologies. Prior to Bluefire, Mr. Goodman was the Director of Security and Risk Management at Aether Systems where he directed all security programs and strategies. He also led the company's Homeland Security initiatives to develop and implement strategies for using mobile data technology to support transportation security, counter-terrorism and the first-responder community. Before that, Mr. Goodman served as the Data Security and Disaster Recovery Manager for Johns Hopkins Medicine. While working in this role, he also helped develop privacy and security strategies for organizations that were subject to regulations under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Prior to Johns Hopkins, Mr. Goodman spent 15 years working for the Department of Defense in both military and civilian roles, supporting strategic national security objectives. Mr. Goodman is a member of the Computer Security Institute and holds a Professional Certification as an Information Systems Security analyst from the Department of Defense.
