Jason Johnson is a senior partner with WiFi system integrator UnwireNow. He also serves as the chairman of the Wireless VoIP Consortium. Previously he served as the Vice President of Marketing for VLI, a voice over WiFi software developer and Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for Global IP Sound, a VoIP technology developer. Prior to Global IP, Mr. Johnson was the co-founder and CEO of InterQuest Communications a nationwide provider of wired and wireless Internet services which merged with Darwin Networks in late 1999 to become the largest provider of broadband Internet service to hotels and apartment communities. Mr. Johnson also headed up channel marketing and sales for networking equipment manufacturer Tut Systems. Prior to that Mr. Johnson launched many of the first Internet products from Microsoft, Netscape, and Sun Microsystems while at worldwide computer distributor Merisel, Inc. His undergraduate and graduate studies were at Pepperdine University. |
