Scott Stainken is the General Manager, Global Wireless Business, IBM Corporation. He is responsible for the business, applications and solutions-related aspects of IBM's wireless and mobile initiatives around the world.
Prior to his current position, Scott was Vice President, Sales, Global Telecommunications Industry and was responsible for sales and business development with the top Telecommunications Service Providers worldwide. Previously Scott was Vice President WW Sales Operations, IBM Server Group. He has extensive international experience on assignment in the Asia Pacific region for four years as Vice President, Midrange Servers, IBM Asia Pacific and General Manager, System Sales, IBM Korea. Scott has held IBM Client Executive positions supporting The Coca-Cola Company, Grand Metropolitan and Johnson & Johnson.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Vermont. He has served on the Board of Directors for Cities in Schools of Miami, American Chamber of Commerce Korea and LG/IBM Korea. He is currently on the board of the National Academy Foundation.
