| Mr. Mikko Riepula is the founder and Managing Director of Wificom Technologies Oy, a Finnish technology company delivering unique software to wireless service providers. Simultaneously, Mr. Riepula has been heading the service provisioning arm of the group, WIFINET Services, contributing to the development of the European WISP landscape and gaining valuable insights into the WISP business as one of the early pioneers in Europe. Mr. Riepula is a member of the Pass-One Executive Committee, an association with the goal of enabling global WISP roaming through a single service mark and a multilateral roaming framework. Prior to Wificom, Mr. Riepula has worked as a consultant in the IT and telco industries in various international expert and management positions, first with Andersen Consulting (nowadays Accenture) based at their EMEA technology center in Sophia Antipolis, and then as a partner in e- conom-e that he was a co-founder of. Mr. Riepula has also worked with Nokia at their Research Center in Helsinki, Finland. Mr. Riepula holds an MSc with honours from Helsinki University of Technology. |
