| Bernd Steinkuehler (bst@x2internet.de) studied at Ruhr University, Bochum Germany and Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, USA and received a Dipl. Ing. 1982 in electrical engineering. He was project leader of the Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) for the German Roentgen Satellite ROSAT. He joined Alacatel and DeTEWE, Berlin and was head of a department for software quality assurance and development of the PABX System content 300 and HICOM 200. In 1995 he introduced as a Value Added Reseller the products of AT&T WaveLAN in Germany and implemented many Wireless projects. In 2002 he founded MFJ-Engineering - a consulting company for Wireless Applications - and X2.internet GmbH, a manufacturer of Wireless Equipment, a System Integrator and Internet Service Operator. X2.internet GmbH is implementing Visitor Based Networks (VBN) including accounting, billing and payment services in EMEA. Since 1980 he is a member of the IEEE Communications Society and VDE/Germany. |
