Founder and CEO of Columbitech (www.columbitech.com), Pontus Bergdahl has been actively involved with the company since its inception in May of 2000. He is responsible for the strategic and tactical direction of the company, along with overseeing development of the company's products.
Background and Industry Experience
Pontus holds an MBA with a concentration in Marketing from INSEAD in Paris, France. He graduated in the 10th percentile earning a Masters of Science in Industrial Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Prior to founding Columbitech, Pontus held several business development and consulting positions. He was a Senior Consultant at Informed Sources Ltd., a media focused consulting agency, where he introduced Ericsson as a key client. Pontus independently consulted for Flextech Plc., a UK multi-channel television company, where he developed the strategy for interactive media.
Earlier in his career, Pontus worked as the Business Development Manager with Modern Times Group, a Scandinavian TV and electronic media house. He was also employed as an Associate with McKinsey & Co., an International strategy consulting firm.
Pontus has participated in Morgan Stanley's M-Files and will be participating on a panel in June during the Wi-Fib conference. He has been quoted in several major publications including Time - Europe.
