Thomas Boele (35) is employed as Senior Network Consultant / Business Development at 3COM CEU (Central Europe). In this position he is responsible for press activities regarding new technologies, the development of marketing programs with reference to technological aspects. Thomas Boele joined 3Com in 2002.
Thomas Boele has a joint master's degree in industrial engineering / electrical engineering which he acquired at the Technical University of Darmstadt. He started his working career as Networking Engineer at Cray Systems GmbH in 1996. In 1997 Thomas Boele started working for Cisco Systems at the Customer Presales Support division. Later on he was responsible for the technical education of the channel partners and the representation of the company at public events as Channel Internetworking Consultant. Last stage at Cisco Systems was the position of a Technical Product Marketing Manager / Market Development Manager in the SMB division. In this trans-sectoral function he was inter alia responsible for press activities regarding new technologies, the development of marketing programs with reference to technological aspects and the development and accomplishment of methods for market observation and analysis.
