Peter Grabienski is a field applications engineer in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). Based in Munich, Germany, he is responsible for the technical support of Agere's WaveLAN chipsets for customers in the EMEA region.
Peter has been with Agere Systems (formerly the Microelectronics Group of Lucent Technologies) for over 3 years. During this time he has worked as a technical manager for the WLAN/Orinoco product lines.
Previously, Peter worked as a project manager at Intermec Corp, focusing on mobile projects, especially GSM and WLAN applications. Prior to this, Peter worked at Thyssen AG, Germany, installing one of the first ever WLAN systems in 1994.
Peter graduated from the University of Dortmund, Germany with a BSc in Computer Science and also gained a PhD in computer science.
