Anurag Lal is the Vice President of Business Development for iPass and is responsible for all business development and strategic initiatives including the company's ongoing drive towards new and emerging technologies and services. Anurag has been instrumental in positioning iPass as a leader in the broadband and wireless roaming space. Anurag joined iPass in September 1999, and brings more than 15 years of business development expertise in global telecommunications and multimedia services, including data, voice and video, to his role at iPass. Most recently, Anurag was Vice President of Internet and multimedia services for BT Worldwide, the international division of British Telecom plc.
Before his work at BT Worldwide, Anurag was Vice President of Data and Internet Product Management and Marketing for e.spire Communications Inc. Anurag also held various management positions at Sprint International Communications Corporation, including group manager of its Global Multimedia Services.
Anurag holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Delhi University, India; a postgraduate diploma in system management from the National Institute of Information Technology in New Delhi, India; and attended Harvard University's executive management program.
