Roman Polz is senior manager, business development of the Networking and Entertainment Division of Agere Systems for EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). He is based in Munich, Germany and supports the European organisation in developing the European consumer market.
Roman has been with Agere Systems (formerly the Microelectronics Group of Lucent Technologies, and prior to this, AT&T) for over 13 years. During this time he has worked in several product areas, including LAN, ASIC and telecommunications ICs, and was most recently responsible for the client applications team in EMEA.
Prior to Lucent, Roman was head of the central European applications Lab for Plessey Semiconductors, prior to which he spent several years in R&D.
Roman Polz holds a diploma in communications technology from the Fachhochschule München.
