| Alan A. Reiter has been analyzing leading-edge wireless telecommunications products and technologies since 1978. In mid-1996 Reiter launched the pioneering consulting firm of Wireless Internet & Mobile Computing, based in the Washington, D.C. area. The firm analyzes such subjects as: Wireless LANs and the integration with other wireless and wireline networks and applications, wireless devices, access to corporate databases, information services, finance, shopping, portals, entertainment and advertising to devices. Wireless Internet & Mobile Computing helps jump-start new businesses and creates innovative solutions for existing businesses in the United States, Asia, Europe and Latin America through competitive analysis, workshops and seminars, confidential reports and corporate white papers. Reiter established the world's first: cellular magazine, cellular conference, wireless data newsletter and wireless data conference. He also helped develop the first independent U.S. trade association for public paging and mobile phones, now called the Personal Communications Industry Association. Reiter has an M.S. in Broadcasting, a B.A. in English and Writing and he completed postgraduate courses in science, technology and foreign affairs, and in electrical engineering for telecommunications. |
