Joe Bardwell Vice President, Professional Services WildPackets

Joseph Bardwell, VP of Professional Services at WildPackets, Inc., has been in the networking industry since its inception as software developer, hardware engineer, educational designer, and instructor. He authored the original Ethernet and Token-Ring CNX (Certified Network Expert) examinations. He continues his efforts for standards of excellence in packet analysis with development of the Network Analysis Expert (NAX) certification, available through WildPackets Academy. For many years, Mr. Bardwell has focused his talents exclusively in the protocol analysis environment, providing technical instruction, courseware development, and field consulting services for corporations throughout the globe. Mr. Bardwell co-founded Optimized Engineering Corporation (OEC), a protocol analysis training and consulting company, serving as President and Director of Engineering from 1994 until the merging of OEC with WildPackets in 2001.
