Ken Figueredo is a Principal Consultant with Analysys Consulting. He is also the Head of Office for Washington DC which was established in the fall of 2000. Ken has been working in the telecommunications sector since 1995. Prior to that, he consulted on product development and technology risk management projects in the commercial and defense industries. His areas of expertise include: business strategy formulation; business planning; process re-engineering; group facilitation; project management; operations management; risk management; specification, design and implementation of information systems. His recent project assignments include: new product development for a satellite Internet backbone connectivity service focusing on competitor pricing strategies and evolutions in market pricing an assessment of the effects of the US economic slowdown on the communications market in a developed, Asia Pacific country to highlight the implications for vulnerable export sectors development of an framework to analyze acquisition and JV-related business opportunities in global cable broadband market for a telecoms equipment manufacturer Prior to joining Analysys Consulting, Ken worked for Cambridge Consultants (in Europe), Booz Allen & Hamilton, and KPMG/San Francisco Consulting Group. Ken has a B.Sc. in Engineering with French and a Ph.D. in Engineering (Self Adaptive Control Systems) from the University of Bath (UK). He also graduated with an MBA from INSEAD (France).
