RadioFrame NetworksTM offers the first indoor wireless platform to converge cellular voice and WLANs. Enterprises can install a single 'super' access point that supports multiple wireless standards over a power-over-Ethernet CAT-5 wire.
The system enables today's wireless clients so enterprises can extend existing resources. The RadioFrame solution integrates cellular/PCS standards offered by Nextel, ATTWS, Cingular and Voicestream with 802.11b. It will plug and play standards like 802.11a, Bluetooth and 3G voice.
The modular system scales from 32,000 to 2 million square feet and costs less since the components, wiring and architecture are shared. It supports data-only or converged system deployments, plus co-located services.
WLAN includes WEP key mapping, 802.1x RADIUS authentication, shared-key authentication, MAC address filtering, VLAN tags based upon MAC addresses plus VPN tunneling.
The System Manager was designed to manage large WLAN deployments, and enables remote monitoring and management control to the component module level.
