His area of expertise covers U.S. wireless BtoC strategies, mobile commerce, and wireless financial services. Mr. Zawel also tracks enterprise solutions aimed at improving workflow processes within organizations, specifically financial institutions. He has recently completed research on mobile payments and the wireless strategies of financial institutions. Prior to joining the Yankee Group, Mr. Zawel worked as a consultant to Israeli start-up companies and for a manufacturer of teleconferencing equipment. Mr. Zawel also spent one year as a banking analyst in New York. Adam Zawel has an M.A. degree in international economics and finance from Brandeis University, and a B.S. degree in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
