Marvin Chartoff is Chief Technology Office (CTO) for the Global Infrastructure Services (GIS) business unit of Unisys Corporation. He has over 18 years of network and infrastructure consulting experience. Marv has focused on providing infrastructure strategies, architectures, and designs across several industries including the public sector, manufacturing, life sciences, healthcare, utilities, telecom, and financial services. Some of his recent technology areas of concentration have included IP Convergence, Wireless/Mobility, Storage Networks, and Instant Messaging. Marv has spoken frequently at trade shows such as Network + Interop, Comnet, Supercomm, and VoiceCon. He has also published in trade journals such as BCR and NetworkWorld.
Marv previously was the North American leader of the Cap Gemini Ernst & Young (CGEY) Network Infrastructure Solutions (NIS) service line. He has BSEE and MSEE degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and an MBA from Carnegie-Mellon University.
