Ram Chary manages the Low Power Technologies Initiative in Intel's Corporate Technology Group. His focus is on Power Management in Emerging Mobile platforms that bring together computing and wireless communications. In his 16 years at Intel, Ram has developed processor micro-code, real-time kernels, networking products and managed the development of PC-based a/v conferencing products. He holds 4 patents and co-authored the book Building the Power Efficient PC: A developer's guide to ACPI Power Management. Ram holds an MSCS from the Univ. of Minnesota and a BSEE from the Indian Institute of Science.
