Leigh M. Chinitz, Ph.D. is the Chief Technical Advisor for Proxim Corporation. This responsibility includes work on both the marketing and engineering sides of the organization, turning customer requirements into next generation system architectures. In addition, his responsibilities include participation in many technical, regulatory, and standards organizations. Prior to joining Proxim in October of 2000, he worked in systems technology research for Motorola, and later was responsible for coordinating Motorola's participation in FCC Rule Making proceedings as part of Motorola's government relations organization. He has a Yale undergraduate degree and a University of Virginia graduate degree, both in physics.
