Lee Goldberg
Sr. Editor
analogZONE
Lee is a senior technology editor at analogZONE.com, an on-line magazine which provides information on technologies, design practices, and products for electronics engineers. He currently edits networkZONE, a section devoted to networking and communication technology, and i/oZONE, which covers interface and interconnect technologies in chip-to-chip, board-to-board, and box-to-box applications. He also edits the green-tech ZONE, a section which covers issues related to technology and the environment.

Armed with a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from Thomas Edison College, Lee spent 20 years deep in the bowels of the electronics industry before deciding to trade in his scope probe for a pen. After leaving a career in engineering in 1994, Lee spent five years as the communication technology editor for Electronic Design magazine. He left Electronic Design in 1999, to become a senior technology editor ChipCenter where also covered communications and networking technology before joining analogZONE.com in March of 2002.

Lee is also involved with work that explores the relationships between technology, society, and the environment. With hands-on experience in alternate energy and energy conservation technologies, Mr. Goldberg has been covering environmental issues within the design community since 1996, and organized the first seminar on electronics and the environment to be held at a commercial trade show. His latest book, "Green Electronics/Green Bottom Line - A Commonsense Guide To Environmentally Responsible Engineering and Management" was recently published by Newnes Press.

Lee has also published work in EE Times, Communication Systems Design, IEEE Computer magazine, Wireless Systems Design, New Telecom Quarterly, IEEE Technology & Society, The Princeton Packet, the IrDA Newsletter, and Aviation Art Gallery.

Lee, his wife Catherine, and his daughter Anwyn currently reside in the outskirts of Princeton NJ, where they masquerade as a typical suburban family.
