Wanda Posehn

Ms. Posehn joined Wi-LAN in December 1997 to aid in the development and growth of Wi-LAN's marketing efforts. In 1999, she became VP Marketing, and carried the position until 2002, when she began the role of VP Canadian Sales, to ignite the distribution channel and demonstrate an increase in sales after the market slide. From 1993 to 1997, Ms. Posehn was with Deloitte & Touche, National Marketing in Toronto, where, in her last position, she managed the market and competitive analysis area. During her tenure, she pioneered the Canadian website development for Deloitte & Touche and designed, developed and launched the global website program for Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu International. Her previous international experience also includes developing marketing communications programs for and completing an operational assessment at Wilimpex Spzoo, an import company in Poland, in 1992 and 1993. From 1991 to 1992, Ms. Posehn held the marketing and corporate relations portfolios as Vice-President, Corporate Relations with AIESEC Canada in Montreal. Ms. Posehn holds a Bachelor of Administration and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Regina.
