Joanie M. Wexler is an independent analyst, writer, and editor who has
followed the computer networking and telecommunications industries for 13
years. Among her current areas of focus are wireless networking and the
evolution of wide-area networks.
Ms. Wexler is a contributing editor to a number of industry trade
publications, including Network World, Business Communications Review,
Broadband Wireless Business, and Computerworld. In addition, she provides
marketing communications consulting and writing services to corporate
clients in the networking industry.
Prior to becoming independent, Ms. Wexler spent eight years covering the
business applications of information technology for International Data
Group. While there, she held senior editorial roles at Network World,
Computerworld, and InfoWorld.
Ms. Wexler holds a B.A. in Journalism and English from the University of
Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
