Mr. Morneault has spent more than 15 years focused on the development, manufacturing, and marketing of silicon, hardware, and software platforms targeted at devices and enabling technologies for the connected-home market environment. In his current role at IBM, Mr. Morneault is responsible for World Wide market strategy and market development for IBM's Smart Home market segment. This includes the definition and execution of Smart Home product strategies across multiple IBM divisions, as well as the development of strategic relationships for the deployment of complete end-to-end system solutions with industry leading technology providers, device manufacturers, and service providers for the Smart Home market segment. Prior to joining IBM, Mr. Morneault was Vice President of Consulting Services and Business Development for id8 Group Holdings, a company focused on consulting and venture development for the deployment of multiple pervasive computing devices and technologies. In his role at id8 Group, Mr. Morneault acted as a strategic advisor to multiple industry leaders, including Microsoft, ViewSonic, Samsung, 3Com, and various other companies creating pervasive computing based technologies and products. Prior to id8 Group, Mr. Morneault was a division manager with AMD's Embedded Processor Division. In his role at AMD, Mr. Morneault was responsible for all software development, hardware development, systems engineering, strategic relationships, and technical support for AMD's embedded market strategy and customer engagements.
