Mr. Shervin Rashti, a Co-founder of TouchNSurf has a Bachelors of Science degree in biology from the University of California, Riverside. His involvement in the telecommunications industry began with the inception of Trans Com Network (TCN) in 1993. Through his direction, TCN was able to become one of only 4 companies to carry the rights to provide long distance services to Pac Bell, G.T.E. and USWest payphones. He was an integral part of TCN's growth; involved in the marketing, strategy planning, and the technical development; forming new methods of expansion, management, and reporting of the LEC payphone base.
As a co-founder of Millennium Telecom Plus (MTP), his marketing plans have grown MTP to new levels. This Nationwide Operator Services Aggregator has accumulated nationwide accounts, formed an east coast sales force, and built a large customer base, structured on personal service. These factors have provided the impetus for the creation of TouchNSurf (TNS).
His telecommunications expertise and skills in ascertaining market needs are strengths he brings as the Chief Technology Officer for TNS. He has developed a very dynamic and user-friendly kiosk interface that fulfills many of the requirements end users seek. This software has recently been recognized at KioskCom 2003 in Las Vegas as the Best Public Communications Application in North America, and at KioskCom 2004, Winner of the Best Application in Travel, Hospitality and Entertainment in the world. The knowledge and experience that come with his background allow market and feasibility studies to impact what direction TNS will move towards to maintain its technological superiority over the competition.
The most recent project that Mr. Rashti has been a part of is the launching of Burn A Song. The explosive broadening of the digital download arena have created a need to implement self service download stations in the retail marketplace. Hence, Mr. Rashti's expertise in self service kiosks was retained to spearhead interactive CD burning Music Stations. The vast knowledge and networking that have come with the years his experience in kiosks, make this venture a natural fit in his broad spectrum of talents and skills in establishing and running successful companies.
