Dr. James M. Scott is currently the Director of Knowledge and Information Management for Corning Incorporated and works in the Science and Technology Division. His responsibilities include managing access to knowledge and collaboration solutions. As part of this role, he has direct responsibility for Intellectual Property management and Export Control Compliance. Included in this role are Information Technology and Information Security Strategy - which is also a corporate responsibility.
Jim has had extensive assignments over the years in Data Center management, Enterprise Systems and Information Strategy
Jim has been an employee of Corning Incorporated since 1977. Prior to that he was on the staff of University Of Newcastle (England) after completing his D. Phil. in Quantum Mechanics.
