Gord Larose is a recognized DRM technology expert who joined Cloakware last year after a time consulting independently in Digital Rights Management security. Previously he worked at various high-technology firms, notably NetActive, a Nortel spin-off in the DRM space which he co-founded. His background covers a broad swath of high technology, including hardware and software design, embedded systems, intellectual property, and technical management. Gord has several Patents issued or pending relating to DRM. A Professional Engineer and CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), Gord is also the author of numerous publications and presentations at venues ranging from local Ottawa events to trade magazines to Comdex, and is owner of the Web's "DRM Dictionary".
