Mark Overington is responsible for Authentica's corporate marketing and product management initiatives. Prior to Authentica, Overington was president and CEO at DMOD, a provider of secure distribution and commerce solutions for digital assets, where he was instrumental in driving sales and marketing strategies for the company.
As vice president of sales and marketing at Excara, Inc. (formerly PurchasingCenter.com), Overington served as a key member of the executive team responsible for developing and executing the company's marketing strategy. Prior to Excara, Overington was senior vice president of marketing and business development at Omtool, Ltd. where he was responsible for developing and executing a successful worldwide business and marketing initiative, including product branding.
Overington joined Avid Technology in 1989 where he was a member of the founding team, and its fifth employee. During his eight-year tenure, Overington's marketing team was instrumental in growing the company from a start-up to a $400+ million public company.
Overington has also held various marketing, sales and support positions at Lotus Development Corp. He holds a BA degree in Psychology from Northeastern University.
