Kris Tibbetts is a product management professional currently focused on working with enterprise customers to provide technology solutions for establishing, implementing and enforcing information protection policies in order to protect sensitive data from accidental or intentional misuse.

Prior to her work in the rights management area, Kris led a team of Microsoft product managers focused on defining future versions of the Windows operating system and ensuring those releases meet the needs of business users. During her 6+ years at Microsoft, Kris also managed the worldwide launch of the Windows XP operating system and a wide range of product management initiatives for multiple versions of Microsoft Project, Microsoft's industry-leading project and resource management application.

Before joining Microsoft, Kris spent nine years in management consulting during which she assisted clients in the high tech, biotech, insurance and petroleum industries with their strategic planning and organizational change management needs.

Kris completed her MBA at the Haas School of Business at the University of California in Berkeley, California and also holds a BA in Economics from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
