Jim Enright Director Linux Program Office Oracle
Jim Enright joined the Linux Program Office at Oracle in January of 2002. Prior to that he was Director of Performance Product management for Oracle. Before joining Oracle in 1996, Enright held marketing, program management and performance measurement and management roles at Tandem Computers for 12 years.
Most of his career has been focused on using collaborative efforts to deliver results for customers, beginning with performance measurement standards and now commercial support and contributions to open source software.
Working with consortia (the Transaction Processing Performance Council and the Oracle Applications Standard Benchmark Council) on performance has provided Enright a dramatic view of what collaboration efforts like Linux and open source can provide for customers.
