Charles Galpin Linux Professional Institute and CTO and co-owner of Defender Technologies Group
Charles Galpin is both a volunteer and staff member of the Linux Professional Institute. Over the last few years he has become increasingly involved in assisting LPI with all aspects of the development of their tools and services used to manage and run their exam delivery programs.
When not working for LPI, Charles is CTO and co-owner of Defender Technologies Group, a small but fast-growing company that heavily uses Linux and Open Source to provide dedicated hosting and colocation (www.defenderhosting.com), and online game servers (www.ecgnetwork.com).
He graduated with honors from the Univeristy of Florida with a B.S. in Computer Science, where he was first exposed to Linux and Open Source - a foundation which has served him well through corporate jobs, contracting, and self employment.
