| In 1998, Jordan Berke established Beyond Interactive’s Dialog Management Group. As the email division of a large digital ad agency, the group’s challenge was to educate the agency’s clients on the role of email in relationship marketing. The first step in this process was to convince clients that email was not simply a digital direct marketing medium, and that in order to be successful, they must develop “mutually beneficial communication strategies.” This practice has helped Beyond clients succeed in spite of the drastic increase in junk email. These clients include Reebok, General Motors, Kelly Services, and Warner Brothers. Under Jordan’s leadership, Beyond has become a highly respected relationship marketing agency, and was awarded the first ClickZ Award for Best Email Driving Commerce. |
