| Julian Haight is the brains behind SpamCop, a system to help users and network administrators deal with the problem of spam. He has always loved computers, programming for the first time on the Apple II in 4th grade. He has worked as a fry-cook, a computer lab operator, a technician in a small-town computer store and a database programmer in a small Manhattan consulting firm. Most recently, he has worked for 5 years in the Seattle area - first as a consultant building small internet projects, gradually concentrating more and more exclusively on SpamCop. SpamCop now consumes all his time; processing over a million spam complaints per week and filtering email for millions of users. Half of all users who report spam do so using SpamCop. |
