| Ahmar Abbas is Managing Director of Grid Technology Partners, a vanguard market research and consulting firm focusing on global grid computing opportunities. Abbas was formerly the Director of Product Marketing at ONI Systems, a leading provider of next-generation optical networking solutions for regional and metropolitan markets. Prior to that he was Director of Business Development at San Jose-based Zaffire, Inc. Previously, Abbas served as Senior Manager for Asia- Pacific and Latin America Product Management at UUNET, a Worldcom Company. Abbas also served as Manager of the Network and Systems Management group at UUNET. Prior to joining UUNET, Abbas served on the Technical Staff at Salomon Brothers. Abbas holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. He is a graduate of International Business Management program at Georgetown University and the Leading Product Development program at Harvard University. Abbas serves on the advisory board of Virginia based Zeera Networks. |
