America Online's Strategic Business Solutions focuses on making AIM more useful to businesses and users in the workplace via Enterprise AIM Services and the AIM Certified Partner program. Enterprise AIM Services provides AOL partners and businesses the services and tools needed to establish and control policies regarding AIM communications, ensure security with end-to-end encryption and facilitate deployment including LDAP and Active Directory integration. AIM Domain-based Identity Services enable consistent identities across e-mail and AIM as well as authenticate users from the corporate directory. The AIM Certified Partner Program authorizes and supports partners to integrate AIM service or embed AIM presence with their applications.
