Lee Blackmore has held the position of Director of Information Technology at Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Incorporated for three years. Prior to his current position, he managed Stifel's Web development department for four years.

Blackmore is responsible for the development and strategic direction of many I.T., Web-based applications, which have improved the technical support for branches and brokers. Under his leadership, the I.T. department will research and implement new forms of electronic communications tools in the future, as these endeavors will assist brokers in better understanding their business, which can ultimately help their production levels.

In the past, Blackmore has worked for other firms and industries in the St. Louis region. His past experience includes Web, multimedia, and interactive education development. Blackmore is a graduate of Lindenwood University, with a bachelor's degree in design communications. He has also received a master's degree in education within an electronic environment from the same institution. In addition to his corporate work experience, Blackmore taught electronic imaging and animation at St. Louis Community College for seven years. Currently, Blackmore lives in St. Louis, and he has a son, daughter, and granddaughter. He is an avid skier and photographer.
