Royal P. Farros
CEO/Chairman
MessageCast, Inc.

Before co-founding MessageCast, Inc., Farros, 43, was founder, Chairman, and CEO of iPrint Technologies (Nasdaq: IPRT), a pioneer in XML and Web services on the Internet and creators of the award-winning and high-volume e-business website, iPrint.com. Farros took iPrint public in March of 2000 and merged the company with a larger supplier of promotional goods in 2001.

Previous to iPrint in 1996, Farros was an officer of Deluxe Corporation (NYSE: DLX), the 4th largest commercial printer in the country. He was executive vice president of the Electronic Direct division, Deluxe's early e-commerce effort.

Prior to Deluxe, Farros was a co-founder and chairman of the board of T/Maker Company, a Silicon Valley software company named three consecutive years to Inc. As one of the Valley's top consumer software companies, T/Maker created such market-leading and award-winning brands as ClickArt, WriteNow, and PFS:First Publisher. The company was acquired by Deluxe Corporation in 1994.

Before joining T/Maker, Farros worked at Hewlett-Packard Company in the early 1980's as a computer marketing engineer and staff manager focusing on HP's early personal computer efforts.

Twice named as one of America's top 100 entrepreneurs aged 30 or under by the Association of Collegiate Entrepreneurs, Farros has also been included in the prestigious MicroTimes 100 List of Industry Leaders and been chosen as a winner of the San Jose Business Journal Entrepreneurial Awards, recognizing individuals that best exemplify the entrepreneurial spirit of Silicon Valley. Farros has authored articles in leading industry journals, including a series which ran monthly in MicroTimes.

Farros received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University (1981 and 1983) and has guest lectured at both Stanford's Graduate School of Business and Graduate School of Law.
