Dan Muse is executive editor of EarthWeb's Networking & Communications Channel and internet.com's Small Business Channel (both properties of Jupitermedia). Muse has covered technology since 1982 and has held editorial-management positions with IDG, McGraw-Hill and Ziff-Davis.
In 1994, Muse led the launch team of FamilyPC magazine (a joint venture of Disney Publishing and Ziff Davis), which was selected as one of the five top magazines in the country by Advertising Age and one of the Ten Hottest Magazines by Adweek. For seven years, he served as group editor in chief of A+ Publishing (a division of IDG Communication). Muse also directed features coverage at Macworld magazine and the news operation at Byte magazine.
Muse has served as a judge for the Software & Information Industry Association's Codie awards and Discover Magazine's Technological Innovations Awards.
