Stowe Boyd, senior vice president of marketing, directs all marketing
strategy, planning, and communications, as well as all technology research
and development. Stowe brings to this task his executive experience in
software development, product management, and marketing in several
well-known and highly successful software and consulting firms.
Throughout his career, Stowe has demonstrated his scope as a directed
leader, results-oriented executive, and visionary writer and speaker. Over
the past decade Stowe has consulted, written and spoken widely on
collaboration technologies, their application, markets, and social impacts.
He has served in prestigious advisory roles (GIGA Senior Consulting Partner,
Contributing Editor KMWorld, Cutter Consortium Senior Principal) and
appeared in numerous high-visibility conferences and symposia in North
America and Europe, including Comdex, GIGA and Delphi conferences, AIIM, and
the International Workflow Conference.
Since 1994, until joining Ikimbo in March 2001, Stowe has consulted widely,
working principally with software, Internet, and consulting firms oriented
toward collaboration technologies. These companies have included Abuzz,
DigitalWork.com, ESPS, FileNet, Fracta, Fujitsu, IBM, Lotus, Novell, Oracle,
Qualcomm, Staffware, Sterling, Tacit, Visio, and many others.
Stowe was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Natural Sciences
by the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a Master of Science in
Computer Science by Boston University.
