JP Morgenthal is an internationally prominent expert on the design and implementation of distributed systems for the enterprise, and underlying technologies: Java, XML, Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) and Business-to-Business (B2B). As CTO, JP manages all technology design and development activities at the firm, and is the lead architect of Ikimbo's Omniprise products.
JP is the author of two well-regarded books, and of numerous articles on the subject. He has consulted to many Fortune 500 organizations, such as Sabre Group, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, Barclays Bank, Citibank, ADP, Banker's Trust, Boeing, Oracle, Sun Microsystems, Microsoft Corporation, and Kellogg. In each of these engagements, his insights have led these companies to participate successfully in deployment of leading edge technologies. Additionally, JP has consulted to many large software development organizations on requirements for entrance into new technology areas, such as XML, EAI, and B2B.
Prior to joining Ikimbo, JP served as CTO for XMLSolutions, where he played a major role in technology direction and the branding of company from startup through two plus rounds of venture funding. As President of NC.Focus, JP ran what was at first a high-end contract architecture and design services firm, targeting the Fortune 1000, and which evolved into a successful industry analyst firm consulting to leading software vendors and Fortune 1000 end-users. Previously, JP was the Product/Project Manager for Cheyenne Software, where he designed, built, and managed the team that delivered Monitrix, a popular Novell network management solution.
JP was awarded both a Bachelor and a Master of Computer Science from Hofstra University.
