Gerry has been a regular speaker on Java and related technologies since 1995. Earlier in his professional life, Gerry specialized in distributed dynamic systems, and architected and managed the development of CAD/CAM (Robotics) systems marketed by a Fortune 100 company grossing over $70 million.
Internet Access Methods is a software company that specializes in Real-Time, Interactive, Collaboration and Distance Presentation technologies. IAM Consulting is a Java training and consulting company whose clients include many of the top financial institutions, telecommunications, electronics and manufacturing companies, including many Fortune 100 companies.
Gerry has a degree in physical chemistry from SUNY Buffalo. His doctoral work in mathematics was at the University of Pennsylvania.
