Ed Simnett is the Lead Product Manager for Real-Time Communications at
Microsoft (MSFT). He is responsible for business development and
marketing for the business unit.
Ed has held senior management positions in leaders in the real time
communications and voice over IP industry. He served as VP Business
Development for DeltaThree (DDDC), a leading internet telephony service
provider, and VP Product Marketing and Business Development for
TrulyGlobal, a subsidiary of VocalTec (VOCL) a leader in voice over IP
gateway business.
In addition Ed has consulted to businesses in the wireless local loop,
eCommerce, internet messaging infrastructure and MSO areas. Ed has
featured in ABCNews.com, NBC.com, The Washington Post and industry
publications.
