Jennifer is currently a Senior Business Manager for the Sun ONE Communications Portfolio, which includes e-mail, calendar and instant messaging products. In her current role, Jennifer is responsible for strategic analysis and planning for the product offering, as well as outbound marketing and field enablement. Prior to moving into her current position, Jennifer was the Senior Product Marketing Manager for Sun ONE Instant Messaging. Jennifer has had a number of other assignments while at Sun. Jennifer worked in Product Marketing on competitive positioning across the Sun ONE product suite, and was part of a Business Development team within iPlanet Engineering with responsibility for the portal and communications product groups. Jennifer brings a unique perspective to Sun based on her non-traditional background and experiences. Jennifer earned a PhD in Political Science from Stanford, has worked extensively in on post-communist reforms in Russia and Eastern Europe, and was a high school math teacher in the Central African Republic.
